Packing Essentials for Travelling

Waterproof Phone Case

This is something I definitely recommend for anyone. It is something I have found so useful both at home and whilst travelling. It is great for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Not only is it great being able to have your phone with you to take photos whilst on the water but also great for safety reasons as you do not need to leave your phone on the beach unoccupied.

Packing cubes

These are definitely a must have! When you’re going travelling for a long period of time or even just a short holiday it’s always messy living out of a backpack/suitcase. These make it so much easier. When I was travelling I had separate ones for tops, dresses, underwear etc and this make it super easy to find things. It is also handy to have a laundry one so you know what needs washing without having to go rooting through your bag.

Fast Drying Towel

As much as we all love a thick fluffy towel, there often isn’t space for this in your suitcase/backpack. A fast drying microfibre towel is ideal for the beach or the shower. As they are so fast drying you can easily hand wash it yourself when you need to and have it dry again within a few hours.

Battery Pack

If you’re anything like me when travelling and take hundreds of photos, a battery pack is definitely an essential. When I’m away my phone barely lasts a whole day so I always have a battery pack in my bag to quickly top up the charge during the day. I find them especially useful when at the airport as when I’m waiting on my own for my flight I spend a lot of time on my phone.

World Travel Adapter

Having an plug adapter for multiple countries makes your life a lot easier. Most of them also have multiple usb slots so you can charge your phone, GoPro and battery pack at the same time. It also means you don’t have to pack individual plug adapters for each country you visit if you’re doing a multi-country trip.
