MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOTS IN VENICE

Everywhere you look in Venice is extremely beautiful but there are a few spots that are absolutely picture perfect. You can spend hours walking around all the narrow streets and canals finding the perfect place but if you have limited time and would like to know exactly where they are then this post is for you.

1. Bridge of Sighs

This is a very well known landmark in Venice. There is a footbridge that crosses the canal in this spot where most people seem to stop and take their photos. This bridge was quite busy. However, if you cross the bridge and go around to the left there is a corner where you can stand without anyone getting in your photo. Not many people seemed to know about this photo spot – there was just one person taking a photo before me.

2. Burano Island

You can easily hop on a return boat trip to Burano Island for just €10. This was my favourite place in Venice. Every corner was just stunning. All of the bridges have beautiful colourful houses behind them so any spot on this island is definitely picture perfect.

3. Rialto Bridge

This is definitely the most famous landmark in Venice. It is what you always see if you search Venice on Instagram and you can really see why it’s so popular. There are so many different spots around the bridge to take photos. Most people seem to crowd on the actual bridge to take photos with the canal but you are best coming off the bridge and taking a photo with the bridge in the background.

4. Mazzorbo Island

This is another beautiful little island – you can walk across the bridge from Burano Island to here. It is full of vineyards and orchards. You can take a walk across the Venissa Estate which is a beautiful vineyard with colourful roses and flowers all around.

5. Any bridge around Venice

There are bridges all over Venice crossing the canals. I found myself taking photos on almost every single one as they were all so beautiful. There are lots of ice cream shops all around – the most famous one is Gelatoteca Suso but the queue from here was huge!!! I just went to a small ice cream shop on a corner and paid €2 for my ice cream.
